Visit of the historical Marrakesh: the Saadian tombs, the Bahia Palace, the Koutoubia Minaret. Lunch at the hotel. Afternoon visit of the famous Djemaa El Fna square with its surrounding souks and handicraft quarters, admire womens embroidery work, and a traditional pancake “msammen” realisation. Visit of Art Galleries.

Departure by 4WD to Ouarzazate via the mountains of the high Atlas passing through the Tich’n’Tichka pass at an altitude of 2260 m, via Telouet, an absolutely stunning scenery. Visit of the Kasbah of Telouet, former residence of the Glaoui family, one of the most influential of this region. Have Lunch, and visit of Kasbah Ait Benhadou. This kasbah is the most famous in Morocco and has served as setting for many famous movies. The Kasbah is now a UNESCO protected monument, continuation and Short visit of Ouarzazate including the Kasbah of Taourirt. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.

After Breakfast, road to Boumalne and EL Kelâa via the road of the thousand Kasbahs, passing by Skoura. On the way, we pass the beautiful kasbah of Amerhidel, visit of Canyon Dades and continuation to Tinghir. Tinghir is famous for its magnificent Todra canyons whose rocks reach an altitude of 250 meters. Excursion to the canyons and possibility for a short hike. Continuation to the track road continues till Erfoud, then Merzouga. Dinner and accommodation in Merzouga.

Early morning, a short walk to see the sunrise over the sanddunes of Merzouga. Back to the Auberge for breakfast and departure to Zagora, via the village of Rissani, birthplace of the present Alaouites Dynasty. Continuation to Alnif, a small Berber village, Continuation to Zagora via Tazzarine and Taghbalt. On the way, splendid sceneries of pre-saharian desert dotted with Berber villages. Excursion to Tamegroute, visit of the famous library containing an impressive collection of old Manuscripts and documents dating from the 12th century.

After Breakfast, we head to MARRAKESH, from Agdz, we head forward on the track road leading through numerous villages and palm groves along the Drâa river before reaching Ouarzazate. Continuation Via the Tizin’ tichka pass, to Marrakesh. Dinner and accommodation at the hotel.
