Blue Cruise in Turkey
The Blue Voyage is a sailing/motoring cruise on any stretch of the cleanest waters in the world between Bodrum to Antalya, where deep blue mingles with the green of the evergreen forest covered coastline. Ancient cities such as Knidos, Caunos, Telmessos, Antiphellos, Myra, Olympus, Phaselis and the rock-tombs in the Lycian cities are there for your exploration if requested and your yacht could be sailing through from the antique regions of Karia, the Lycian and then on to the Pamphylia region. Everyday a new cove a new bay to be explored. Endless natural beauty and history are enjoyed whilst cruising under the Mediterranean sun. The blue cruise is mostly done with gullets type wooden boats between 18-30 meters. When the chance comes the sail are used but the cruising is mostly motor powered. Every boat has everything needed for the guests. Generally 4 to 8 cabin boats are used for the blue cruise. Every cabin has a shower and wc. It is possible to rent yachts for all quality and standarts: Standart with no air condition, luxury with air condition and deluxe with air condition.
ROUTE 1 (Marmaris-Fethiye-Marmaris)
Day One: Marmaris
Boarding the yacht in Marmaris. Dinner and overnight in the harbor.
Day Two: Ekincik
Sailing up to the First stop Kumlubükü for lunch after breakfast. Sailing up to Ekincik,
swimming and posibility of visiting the Ruins of Caunos. Dinner and overnight in Ekincik.
Day Three: Göcek Bays-Ag Limani, Kleaopatra Bays
Sailing up to Kizilkuyruk bay after breakfast. Lunch in this wonderful bay.
Dinner and overnight in a bay amongst the island of Göcek.
Day Four: Fethiye Gulf
Sailing up Fethiye Gulf after breakfast. Swimming in the clear blue waters during the day.
Five o'clock tea in Bedri Rahmi bay. Dinner and overnight in the same bay.
Day Five: Marmaris
Back in Marmaris after breakfast, it is time to say farewell to your gullet and crew.
ROUTE 2 (Fethiye-Kekova-Fethiye)
Day One: Fethiye
Board the boat in Fethiye harbour. Evening meal and overnight in Fethiye harbour (Samanlik Bay).
Day Two: Gemiler Island-Olüdeniz
After breakfast and briefing, set off along the coast of the Fethiye Peninsular for lunch in a secluded bay.
Overnight is spent at Gemiler Island, where you can explore the ruins of a Byzantine settlement as the sun sets.
And swim in Ölüdeniz.
Day Three: Yesilkoy-Kas
An early start for Yesilköy, for breakfast and time to swim in this quiet bay surrounded by olive groves.
Then its off to Kas, a small harbour town with a charming bohemian atmosphere, where you will spend the night.
Day Four: Kekova
A short cruise to the ruins at Kekova, the Sunken City. Lunch is at Tersane Bay where
you will see the ruins of a Byzantine church and a Roman dockyard on the beach.
As you sail on to Gökkaya for the night, the underwater ruins of ancient Gökkaya are visible.
Day Five: Kekova
Climb up to the castle (Kale) for a spectacular view of the ancient city. Out in the bay, overlooked
by a theatre carved into the rock, a single Lycian sarcophagus sits on its pedestal in the water.
The night is spent in the wide bay surrounded by green hills, at nearby Üçagiz.
Day Six: Bayindir Limani-Kalkan
After breakfast, a short cruise to the sheltered bay at Bayindir Limani for a swim.
The rest of the day is spent in Kalkan, a picturesque harbour town set on the hillside,
where you can explore the cobbled winding streets or take an optional trip to nearby
archaeological site of Myra, or Demre for the St-Nicholas Church, or the ruins at Xanthos and Letoon.
Day Seven: Camli Burun - Batikkaya Bay
After an early start to Çamli Burun, a natural bay edged with pine-clad hills, your last night on board is spent in Batikkaya Bay.
Day Eight: Arriving back to Fethiye
Arriving back to Fethiye after breakfast, it is time to say farewell to your gulet and crew.
ROUTE 3 (Bodrum-Gökova-Bodrum)
1st day: Bodrum
You will arrive in Bodrum, one of the leading resorts and the undisputed "hot spot" of the Aegean Coast.
Embarkation starts after 15:30. Welcome on board, dinner in the evening and after you will be free to discover the town.
Overnight is in the harbour of Bodrum giving brief information about the route and the boat by Rota Yachting staff.
Service starts with the dinner.
2nd day: Çökertme
While our guests are enjoying their breakfast the captain clears the formalities with the harbour master for leaving the harbour.
After a brief information it is time to sail to Alakisla bay. Near Karaada island you will have your first swim in the crystal
clear waters of the Aegean sea and perhaps lunch at Orak island. Dinner and overnight is in Çökertme, a small fishing hamlet.
3rd day: Cati Lagoon
After breakfast in we will travel leisurely to Catii Lagoon for lunch. The afternoon is yours to visit the beauties of this region.
Dinner and overnight in Cati. Sailing to Tuzla bay before breakfast, lunch and swimming break We will be anchoring in Uzun Liman
(Long-Port) before 5:00 p.m. (tea-time) and will enjoy the dinner and the night here.
4th day: English Harbour Cruise
English Harbour Cruise to Yediadalar for lunch. The surroundings are picturesque and ideal for swimming. You will anchor in English Harbor, a pine forest frame.
The name English Port comes from the 2nd World War, as the ships of the English Navy were hiding here.
In this area there are so many small and large bays for the boats to anchor. Dinner and overnight.
5th day: Cleopatra Island / Karacasogut Cruising to Sedir (Kedrae) island
This unique island with its small beach and unbelieveable clear water is like an open-air museum. You can see the city the amphitheatre, for 1500 guest capacity.
Cleopatra beach, that is located on this island has a very special kind of sand that can be found only in someplaces of Northern Africa. According to the myth Marc
Antonius had brought this sand from Egypt by sea for Cleopatra.
Then our boat will be sailing to Karacasogut village for the dinner and the night. This pretty village is located 25kms away from Marmaris.
On request the captain will offer optional tours to Marmaris.
6th day: Tuzla / Ballisu
Today you will sail to Tuzla. After a free afternoon, proceed to Ballisu for dinner and overnight Ballisu bay after breakfast.
Dinner and overnight in Löngöz. Our guests might take a walk trough the forest.
7th day: Çökertme / Oraklar
Sailing to Pabuç after breakfast. Haremten bay is after lunch and swimming break.
After having tea sailing to Pabucburnu, a short swimming break here. Then our boat will be sailing back to Bodrum Port for the last dinner and the night over.
8th day: Bodrum
After breakfast, disembarking in Bodrum latest at 10:30. It is thime to leave the boat with nice memories and say good bye to the crew.
ROUTE 4 (Göcek-Fethiye-Göcek)
1st Day: GOCEK
Arrival & Wellcome Cocktail. Overnight in Gocek set in a beautiful pine forest, one of the best sailing spots of the Mediterranean.
2nd Day: SARSALA - BEDRI RAHMI BAY
Cruising around the wonderful bays of the Fethiye Gulf (Sarsala, Bedri Rahmi Bay)
3rd Day: BATIK HAMAM - CLEOPATRA BAY
Exploring Batikhamam and Cleopatra Bays where you can see conspicuous ruins of several old stone buildings right on the water's edge.
4th Day: YASSICA ISLANDS - GULF OF FETHIYE
Cruising to Yassica Island. Explore the Fethiye gulf.
5th Day: GULF OF FETHIYE
6th Day: OLUDENIZ - GEMILE ISLANDS
Explore the Blue Lagoon (Oludeniz) with its calm, crystal waters. Overnight at Gemile Island.
7th Day: TERSANE - GOCEK
Cruising to Tersane Island. Numerous ruins around the shores of the creek date from the Byzantine times.
8th Day: GOCEK
Disembarkation after breakfast.
